Dunbarton Adventurer's Association, May 14, 2010

Greetings Mabinogians!

Welcome to this issue of Erinn Weekly, the bulletin for the Dunbarton Adventurer's Association. Our goal is to help you get the most out of your fantasy life. This week, Mabinogi awaits the coming of the Goddess of Light. More to the point, we released some information about the Goddess of Light update to Mabinogi and the new town of Tara. We also got some pretty nice press from Massively magazine about it. Our question of the week garnered some very honest feedback about the Dungeon Collection Event and we kicked off a great new contest that could get you in Erinn Walker! Check out everything that happened this week in Erinn and always remember: "Nunquam lamiae morde me dice." (Never say 'Bite me' to a vampire).

Rise and Shiny: Mabinogi

"Mabinogi is like no other game I have found. It is a combination of a fantastic skill based game, a great roleplay opportunity, a killer dungeon crawler with resetting random dungeons, a wonderful pet system, extreme customization and a perfect opportunity for those that love to try different abilities. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a game to play for a long, long time."

Question of the Week

What do you think of the Dungeon Collection Event?

This week saw us declare open season on all the bosses residing in the dungeons of Uladh. We invited you to get in on the action and you certainly did. Many of you really enjoyed the event, grateful for the incentive to get people back into dungeons rather than just running Shadow Missions. Other really enjoyed the special items that dropped in the dungeons. Others of you however, felt that the event's drop rate was far too low. The Mabinogi development team appreciates your honest feedback and is already taking it into account when developing future events.

"Most of the time is was probably real bad being stuck down in a dungeon. But some days, when there was a bad storm outside, you'd look out your little window and think, 'Boy, I'm glad I'm not out in that.'" -- Jack Handy, Erinn philosopher

Let’s see what some of your fellow Mabinogians had to say:

"The event was good, but for future events, Nexon should make the drop rates higher."– Jason C.

"The event was a cool idea, but the drops from the end chests were way too hard to come by. Good effort on making it fun!" – Mary K.

I liked this event a lot. I got some good stuff and a few levels from the dungeon runs. This helped me a lot.”- Kaine S.
