The hour draws nigh when all of Erinn shall choose their destiny! This week Erin Weekly covers the new Destiny system and offers a veritable host of enjoyable things to do and see! Place thy gaze upon Nexon’s new Web show, the BlockParty Blabber Box. Rewrite Shakespeare’s most famous soliloquy to make it even darker, more violent, and depressing, then hie thyself to Dugald and join the battle for the enemy’s flag. Truly, all of Erinn is a stage and truly lucky are the players! Stick with the Erinn Weekly for all the details of the week's events.

Headlines

Choose Your Destiny!

One of the wonders of Erinn is the way we can develop many different types of skills without sticking to one set path. This has allowed us creative freedom to build our characters and define ourselves the way we wanted. Hamlet though, will introduce the Destiny System and create a whole new way to play Mabinogi.

Choose wisely!

Open the Blabber Box!

Welcome to the first episode of our brand new Web show, the BlockParty Blabber Box! Blabber Box will feature updates on all of Nexon's games from the producers themselves, sketches, animated shorts and a whole lot more.

Events

To Win or Not to Win!

With the new Hamlet update creeping up upon us in a petty pace from day to day, it seems like all of Erinn is in a most Shakespearean mood lately. This is especially true for Morrighan. She’s even gone so far as to begin working on her own version of Hamlet’s famous “To be or not to be” soliloquy. Unfortunately being the Goddess of War and Vengeance means creative writing isn’t really part of her portfolio. Therefore she’s calling on all Mabinogians to help her indulge her Shakespearean mood.

All the world's a stage!

The Capture the Flag Event is back!

Gather in the fields southwest of Tracy's Logging camp in Dugald for one of our most popular events. Once there join either the red or blue team. To join the red team, talk to Lorna near the red flag. To join the blue team, speak with Pan. Both representatives will share the game rules with you if you ask. Pick a team, suit up and go get those flags!

Straining upon the start. The game's afoot!

Question of the Week

This week sees the return of the very popular Capture the Flag event. We’d like to get some advice from CTF veterans for new players. What’s your strategy for winning the Capture the Flag game in Dugald?

One of Mabinogi's most popular events returned to Erinn this week. The Capture the Flag event in Dugald has hosted many matches, so we wondered whether veterans might have any advice when it comes to giving advice to new players on how to win this event.

"Gracious lord, Stand for your own; unwind your bloody flag" ~ Archbishop of Canterbury, Henry V, Act I, Scene 2

Let’s see what some of your fellow Mabinogians had to say:

" I get three Guild Members to guard me while I continually take their flag! That's how I got the Scoring Master Title!" ~Danielle R.

"Frozen Blast, Ice Spear, and Thunder works wonders. If you don't have those skills, then use charge on the closest target to get away. Also, avoid getting near anyone using magic, because those buggers get annoying. I guess the best advice someone can give is teamwork, because most of the time, it doesn't matter if one group is bigger or smaller than the other, because as long as there is strategy, they'll always come out on top.
Also, don't let your pride get in the way of the win. You have no idea how many times teams have lost because no one wanted to stay and defend their own flag." ~Jonathan P.

"1.) Invade enemy area
2.) Capture flag
3.) ???
4.) Profit!" ~Jasper H.

Mabinogi: Tale of Twin Swords

One of the most fun aspects of playing Mabinogi is the creativity it inspires in its players. Childofmaka was inspired by the Hamlet update to create a fan trailer. Check it out and leave a comment about what you think!
