Greetings Mabinogians!
One of the great aspects of Mabinogi is how it challenges your mind and your creativity, not just your sword arm. With that in mind, you’re going to want to check out our top story this week. It’s your chance to contribute to Quiz Show, an exciting event coming to Mabinogi! Naturally we can’t neglect the sword arm since there are so many monsters out there to slay and dungeons to explore. That’s why we’ve got a preview of the combo cards and the bow/cross mastery coming out in the next update. We’ve also asked your fellow Mabinogians about violence as we discover what kind of spirit weapons they wield. Finally we have a delightful music video from 2008 that we’ve never featured on Erinn Weekly. The person responsible for missing it has been dutifully smacked. Alas, my friends, Hamlet’s tale has come to its unlovely end. Yet in Erinn, tales may be told again so that all may take part! We are calling upon all thespians to once again take center stage and shine in the spotlight! Gather your friends and reenact your favorite scene from Hamlet! All the world's a stage, all the men and women merely players, but only three shall win the coveted Adventure Nao figurine!.

Starting on February 14th, a quest to bake a cake will drop from your faithful owl. You will be required to gather the necessary ingredients to bake a Chocolate Cake of love.Please be patient! It will take several days for you to gather the materials and wait for the batter to sweeten.

Wow, was it a cold week last week! Although the skies have cleared over your real life, chilly air still lingers in your Fantasy Life. What makes a better armor to the harsh elements other than fur? Lockout Issues
We know several players were locked out of certain characters on their accounts after the Hamlet update. While we believe we have remedied the lockout problem, we are now looking toward compensating players for lost time on their favorite characters.

That day filled with love is behind us, so today we’re focusing on violence! Specifically, we’d like to know what weapon you use your spirit weapon on and why?

"My ego is the lovely ice wand. Ice is generally considered the weakest of the elements in terms of power, however I find that I have more fun with the ice element since it requires a bit more style. Chain cast for rapid fire, or a revolver in loading just the 5th bolt, or perhaps a push back method. It's really handy to be able to load a full chain cast when nearly out of mana, and of course access to IS also plays a supporting role." ~ Nevon A.
"I use a Spritual Ego Bow, one reason is so that while I'm in a cornered situation, with enemies charging after me, my ego, with it's enhanced range, will be able to pick those enemies off one by one from a safe distance." ~Stephen H.
"My Claymore, for many reasons. One, it has good damage and balance as a spirit, making it desirable by many of the Human race that is Melee. Two, I named it after my Mabinogi wife, so that once the Spirit weapon is stronger, it can one-hit most Fomors. Finally, three, it's just in my nature to either dual-wield, or use a two-handed weapon, and considering as how you can't have two spirit weapons on the same character, I opted for a two-handed weapon, a Claymore." ~Jimmy B.
