Morphing Pet Preview

Greetings, Mabinogians!

We have new pets coming to the premium shop soon, and we wanted to share with you some of the specifics regarding these alluring transforming pets!

First up, we have the adorable little Hamster. His inventory is a modest 6x4, enough to be a proper safe-keeper of some of your valuables. The hamster is a ravenous fellow, and if you feed him to the point where his gord can take no more, he will transform into humanoid form!

While in this humanoid form, the Hamster can make use of an ability no other pet before it could: Windmill! Particularly clever Mabinogians may manipulate the pet AI function in order to have this stoic hamster windmill attacking beasts and fomors!

Unlike the other two morphing pets, you can control when the Hamster changes into its humanoid form. Simply make sure he's had his fill and he will stay in human form indefinitely. If you would like him to revert to his smaller stature, leave him to his own means and he will transform back into his alter-ego.

On to the Persian! Her inventory is slightly larger than that of the hamster, clocking in at 4x8. This cute kitty has ga-ga eyes and a facial expression that would make any heart melt with love and giddyness. You'll only see the cat like this during the night, because once Palala, the Sun of Erinn rises, the Persian will transform into its humanoid form! During the daylight hours, your morphed Persian may also make use of the Windmill skill. While the Persian may not be as skillful in melee combat as the Hamster or Black Wolf, she is very exceptional when practicing magic arts.

Be mindful as your shadow grows longer and longer. Once Palala sets, the Persian will transform back into its kitten state, losing its ability to Windmill.

Finally, meet the Black Wolf. Of all the morphing pets, the Black Wolf has the largest inventory space, 6x6. He is also the strongest of the three morphing pets. Palala reflects off the shiny black coat of the wolf as it pads around on all fours in the daytime hours. However, once Eweca rises, the wolf triumphantly changes into a humanoid form. Much like the Hamster and Persian before it, the Black Wolf is also able to perform the Windmill skill.

As a new day begins in Erinn, so must the Black Wolf retreat into its animal form, where it patiently waits to reemerge a fierce biped when Palala falls beyond the horizon!

In addition to the miraculous transformations these pets can perform, they will also sometimes mimic their owner's actions!

We hope you've enjoyed the preview of the morphing pets. Keep an eye out on the premium shop... they're coming soon!
