Potential System and Novice Benefit Expansion

With the April 13th update, we're introducing a new Potential System to give you new, bonus rewards as you level up in Mabinogi! We've also made a few changes for our long-time players, giving them some of the convenience features that our newer players enjoy. Check it all out below!


Potential System

System Details

  • Every 10 levels, you gain Potential Points, increasing with every 10 Levels. For example:
    • Reaching Level 10 awards 1 Point
    • Reaching Level 20 awards 2 Points, for a total of 3
    • Reaching Level 30 awards 3 Points, for a total of 6
  • As you accumulate more and more Potential Points, you will automatically unlock additional rewards
  • Potential Points persist after Rebirth, so keep racking them up!

Potential Rewards

  • 1 Point: Nao's Equipment Box, containing a weapon for your preferred combat style
  • 5 Points: Stat Points +1
  • 10 Points: The Light of Palala x1
  • 15 Points: Stat Points +1
  • 20 Points: Rebirth Potion x1
  • 25 Points: Stat Points +1
  • 30 Points: Palalan Embrace (Rank F)
  • 35 Points: Stat Points +1
  • 40 Points: Unlock Soul Stream Inventory (8x4)
  • 45 Points: Stat Points +1
  • 50 Points: Rebirth Potion x1
  • 55 Points: Stat Points +2
  • 60 Points: Palalan Embrace (Rank E)

  • 70 Points: 2 Enchant Scrolls exclusive for the Light of Palala

Palalan Embrace

  • When used, grants one of the following bonuses at random:
    • Increase Speed
    • Increase Production EXP
    • Increase Combat EXP
    • Increase Exploration EXP
    • Increase Recovery Potion Effect
    • Add a Huge Lucky effect on your next action
    • Add a Stat Boost to the following stats: DEX, INT, STR, WIL, LUK, HP, MP, STA, Crit, DEF, Protection, M.DEF, M.Protection, M.ATT
  • Can be used once per 12 hours, resetting at Noon and Midnight Pacific Time
  • Can only be advanced through Potential Points
  • Cannot be Untrained


Novice Benefits Expanded to All

  • Players above clvl 1000 can now speak to Duncan to reset all skills, however at a cost of gold, increasing with each reset. Functionality unchanged for players below clvl 1000.
  • Expert Talent AP Rewards now standard, regardless of when it has been obtained
  • Rebirth UI has been improved to denote how long until your next available rebirth
