Video Recording

A new video recording function has been added to Mabinogi. This function lets you record up to 5 minutes of your fantasy life for you to show the rest of the world.

The following is a guide on how this new function works:

To open the Video Record menu, click on the “REC” button found on the bottom right hand side of the screen.


This menu has a variety of options that allows you to record video, change the quality of the video, as well as upload the video you record straight to your YouTube account.


Start: Clicking on this button starts recording a video.
Stop: Clicking on this button stop recording a video.

The default shortcut key to start recording a video is “Ctrl + U”. This same shortcut key can be used to stop recording.

Upload to YouTube: Clicking on this button will bring up a menu that allows you to upload the videos you have recorded onto your YouTube account.

AUTO Upload: Clicking on this box will automatically bring up the “Upload to YouTube” menu after you stop recording the video or after the 5 minutes of recording time end.

RES: This drop down menu allows you to choose the resolution at which you wish to record your video.

QUAL: This drop down menu allows you to choose the quality at which you wish to record your video.

Upload to YouTube Menu:


This menu allows you to upload the videos you record directly onto your YouTube account.

Username: Input your YouTube username into this field. A visual keyboard is also available for you input text into this field.

Password: Input the password associated with your YouTube username into this field. A visual keyboard is also available for you to input text into this field.

Title: Input the title of your video into this field.

Desc: Input a description of your video into this field.

Tag: Input a tag for your video into this field.

File: Choose the video you wish to upload onto YouTube.*

* The videos you record will be automatically saved in your “My Documents\Mabinogi\Video” folder on your computer.
